FetchNow Browser

Browser FetchNow comes pre-configured with great content from your local city - and if you want, you can add more local and national content to make your FetchNow even better.

What do the buttons at the top do?

Clicking on the Bookmark button will pop up a dialog box with instructions on how to bookmark FetchNow (this function depends on the specific browser your using).

Clicking on the Personalize button will allow you to add or delete local and national content sources (CNN, Blogs, etc.). Just select the content area of interest - click the check box(s) and move on to the next content area. When your finished click the Save content button at the top.

Clicking the New Location button will take you back to the FetchNow site where you can select another FetchNow location. This will launch a new app - separate from the one(s) you currently have - with a new set of content sources specific to that location.

Clicking the help button will take you back to this support page.

Working with the PODs

 Each POD you see in the app are live content areas - these contain content specific to the category (Fine Dining) and that location. You can scroll down the POD by selecting the scroll bar on the right. Clicking on the content header of any story will allow you to read more. PODs can be expanded or collapsed by selecting the the + or - at the far right of the header depending on whether the POD is expanded or collapsed. PODs can also be re-ordered by clicking in the POD header and holding your mouse down and dragging the POD to a new location. Try it it's fun!

Share with a friend

At the bottom of your FetchNow app you'll see a button labeled share with a friend. Clicking this button will allow you to share the FetchNow app with a friend. (note: the app you share will not contain any customizations you may have made to your FetchNow)

Clicking on the Bookmark button will on iPhone pop up a dialog box at the bottom of your device with instructions on how to save FetchNow as an icon on your home screen. Android and other mobile devices will see a page with instructions for bookmarking FetchNow on those specific devices.

Personalize

Clicking on the Personalize button will allow you to add or delete local and national content sources (CNN, Blogs, etc.). Just select the content area of interest - click the check box(s) and move on to the next content area. When your finished click the Save content button at the top.

Working with PODs

The content PODs at the top (Pubs and Bars, Fine dining, etc) provide fast access to specific content areas of interest. When you personalize your FetchNow you'll see new PODs created on top of the standard PODs. Each POD in the app is a live content area - these contain content specific to the category (Fine Dining) and that location. Clicking on the POD will take you to a page with the latest stories for that area. Clicking on a story will allow you to read more.

There are 2 expanded PODs to provide easy access to the most popular PODs in that location.
